Movies for men

I bought three DVD's yesterday to add to my small collection of movies that men should own. Yesterday's additions were, Braveheart, 300, and Anchorman. I have a list of movies (in my head, not written down) that I want to own one day so that at any moment I can see a manly movie. Here are a few that are on the list in my head:

Blazing Saddles
Rocky (just about any of them, except maybe Rocky V)
Any Clint Eastwood Western
Talledega Nights
Gladiator
Hoosiers
any of the Rambo's (First Blood is still the best)
any of the Die Hard's
anything starring Bruce Lee
Cool Hand Luke

What movies do you think a real man should have at his house?

You mentioned some of my favorites. I would add A Few Good Men. (Tom Cruise not with-standing) And it's a bit recent for my "old school" mentality but The Bourne Ultimatum is the best action movie I've seen in years. Jason Bourne is MacGyver crossed with James Bond.

Star Wars
Lord of the Rings trilogy
Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl
Batman Begins
Remember the Titans
Dead Poets Society
Monty Python's Search for the Holy Grail
Elf

I could go on but I won't bore you with my endless list.

Pulp Fiction-just for Samuel L Jackson's lines . . .
"Royale w/cheese!"
It's always funny when it comes on Spike or AMC because they have to employ euphemisms for the bad words lest we never hear any dialogue. Suddenly everybody is "my friend"!

Have now caught C.H.L. in HD. Hard to explain how, but it makes it more grittier than you've seen in years. "What we have here is failure to communicate." "Captain...Captain... Look what he done to Ol' Blue." "My Lord, whatever I done, don't strike me blind for another couple of minutes." And the list goes on...
